Privacy Policy

Effective date: April 19, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how BESC Exchange collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects personal information when you access or use our platform, including our websites, applications, APIs, wallets, trading services, fiat services, card services, P2P services, marketplace features, support tools, and related products.

This policy is written for a U.S.-based digital asset platform and should be reviewed by qualified privacy and financial-services counsel before public launch.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect information you provide directly, information generated through platform use, information from devices and systems, blockchain information, and information from service providers or compliance partners.

  • Account information: name, email, phone number, username, password data, account settings, security preferences, support history, and communication preferences.

  • Identity and verification information: date of birth, address, government identification, tax information, proof of residence, liveness checks, selfies, business information, beneficial ownership information, sanctions screening results, fraud checks, and risk review data.

  • Financial and transaction information: balances, deposits, withdrawals, trades, orders, positions, fiat payments, card activity, P2P transactions, staking activity, wallet addresses, blockchain transaction hashes, payment method details, fees, limits, and account ledger records.

  • Device and usage information: IP address, approximate location, device identifiers, browser type, operating system, session data, cookies, pages viewed, clicks, logs, crash data, and security events.

  • Communications: support tickets, chat messages, emails, call records where applicable, feedback, surveys, and dispute documentation.

2. How We Use Information

We use personal information to operate, secure, improve, and provide the platform. This includes account creation, identity verification, transaction processing, wallet operations, trade execution, customer support, fraud prevention, sanctions screening, AML controls, risk monitoring, debugging, analytics, product development, notices, legal compliance, dispute handling, and enforcement of our Terms.

3. Compliance, Fraud Prevention, and Security

Because digital asset services can involve financial crime, fraud, sanctions, and cybersecurity risk, we may use information to verify identity, detect suspicious activity, investigate unusual transactions, review account behavior, respond to legal requests, protect users, and comply with applicable law. We may retain certain compliance records even after account closure where required or permitted by law.

4. How We Share Information

We may share information with service providers, identity verification vendors, payment processors, banks, card program partners, liquidity providers, wallet infrastructure providers, blockchain analytics providers, cloud and security providers, customer support tools, auditors, legal advisors, regulators, law enforcement, courts, tax authorities, counterparties where required for P2P or marketplace activity, and other parties with your direction or consent.

We do not sell personal information as a data broker. We may use analytics, cookies, or similar technologies to operate and improve the platform, measure performance, prevent fraud, and maintain security.

5. Blockchain Data

Blockchain transactions are generally public and may be permanent. Wallet addresses, transaction hashes, balances, smart contract interactions, and network activity may be visible to anyone using blockchain explorers or analytics tools. We cannot delete or reverse public blockchain records.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We may use cookies, local storage, device identifiers, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, secure sessions, remember preferences, detect fraud, measure performance, improve features, and support analytics. You can control some cookies through your browser settings, but disabling cookies may affect platform functionality.

7. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide services, comply with legal and regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain security, prevent fraud, and keep accurate financial and transaction records. Retention periods vary based on data type, account status, legal requirements, and operational needs.

8. Security

We use administrative, technical, and operational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including access controls, encryption where appropriate, monitoring, logging, authentication controls, security reviews, and vendor controls. No system is completely secure, and you are responsible for protecting your credentials, devices, email account, two-factor authentication methods, API keys, and withdrawal addresses.

9. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, port, or object to certain processing of personal information. Some requests may be limited by identity verification, fraud prevention, transaction recordkeeping, legal obligations, security requirements, or blockchain immutability. You may update certain account information directly in your account settings.

10. U.S. State Privacy Notices

Residents of certain U.S. states may have additional privacy rights under state privacy laws. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights where prohibited by law. If you submit a privacy request, we may need to verify your identity and account ownership before responding.

11. International Users

If you access BESC Exchange from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where we or our service providers operate. Data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

12. Children

BESC Exchange is not intended for children. You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction to use the platform. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
